Be Grateful to Our Parents
Since we were born, many people help us a lot. We should be grateful to their kindness. But the ones we should show our greatest appreciation are our parents. From the first day we appear in their lives, they give us all their love and care, but never expect anything in return. As long as they are there, we do not feel any difficulties, because they are always in front of our shelter, preventing us from difficulties and danger. In order to make our lives better, learn better, they do everything they can to create the best conditions for us, but ignore their own needs. Therefore, we need to cherish parents’ love and repay their upbringing. We should treat them as they treat us.
感恩父母
从我们出生的那天开始，许多人都帮助过我们。我们应该感谢他们的友好。但是，我们最应该感谢的人是我们的父母。从我们出现在他们生活中的那天开始，他们不求回报地给了我们所有的爱和关怀。只要有他们在，我们感觉不到任何的困难，因为他们总在我们的前方为我们遮风挡雨，把我们挡在困难和危险的后面。为了让我们生活得更好，学习得更好，他们竭尽所能得为我们创造最好的条件，却忽略了自己的需要。因此，我们要珍惜父母的深情，要报答父母的养育之恩，要如他们对待我们这般来回报父母。

在地震发生十余小时后，一位满脸是血的北川男孩从废墟中被救出。就在武警官兵准备把他转移到安全地带时，他艰难地举起还能动弹的右手，虚弱而又标准地敬了一个少先队队礼。担架上的小男孩不忘向援救他的官兵叔叔敬礼感恩的举动，让无数的人深受感动……
The thermometer had dropped to 18 deGREes below zero, but still chose to sleep in the porch as usual. In the evening, the most familiar sight to me would be stars in the sky. Though they were a mere sprinkle of twinkling dots, yet I had become so accustomed to them that their occasional absence would bring me loneliness and ennui.
It had been snowing all night, not a single star in sight. My roommate and I, each wrapped in a quilt, were seated far apart in a different corner of the porch, facing each other and chatting away.
She exclaimed pointing to something afar, “Look, Venus in rising!” I looked up and saw nothing but a lamp round the bend in a mountain path. I beamed and said pointing to a tiny lamplight on the opposite mountain, “It’s Jupiter over there!”
More and more lights came into sight as we kept pointing here and there. Lights from hurricane lamps flickering about in the pine forest created the scene of a star-studded sky. With the distinction between sky and forest obscured by snowflakes, the numerous lamp-lights now easily passed for as many stars.
Completely lost in a make-believe world, I seemed to see all the lamplights drifting from the ground. With the illusory stars hanging still overhead, I was spared the effort of tracing their positions when I woke up from my dreams in the dead of night.
Thus I found consolation even on a lonely snowy night !
我最敬佩的人就是我的英语老师了。是她无时无刻的关心我。当我的成绩下降时，是她安慰我；当我的成绩提高时，又是她在鼓励我；当我在生活上遇到困难时，也是她，我的英语老师，陈老师在帮助我。陈老师给了我太多的知识，我不知道该怎样去报答她。
记得刚开学时，我很腼腆，上课时不敢举手回答问题。是她，是英语老师给了我这个发言的机会；是她，是英语老师激励的目光让我战胜了胆怯。是她，是英语老师用那鼓励的话语让我重新树立起信心，建立起勇气，找回了那个自信的自我。
英语老师的实际行动在激励着我，在感动着我，也在感化着我。有时，我会很庆幸我怎么会遇到这样一位和蔼可亲的好老师呢？
虽然有时我也会惹老师生气，甚至有时还会赌气不理老师，但是老师对我的关心不但没有减少，反而更增加了不少。
“老师”这个神圣的称号让我敬佩。如果老师是一土地，那我就是生长在土地上的植物；如果老师是一片天空，那我就是生活在天空上的白云，如果……
啊，英语老师对我关心与照顾让我终生难忘。英语老师的行动将令我受益终生。
最后，我只能说一句：老师，您辛苦了。

敬爱的叔叔阿姨，亲爱的老师，大家好！我是一名4年级的学生，名叫朱光照，我在清华学习2年了，我爱清华英语学校，这里有优雅的环境和可亲可敬的老师。教我的老师是吕老师，吕老师性情温和，幽默风趣。我很喜欢吕老师，因为吕老师对我们非常好，从不对我们发脾气，吕老师是我们的良师益友。在清华英语学习了的这段时间，我感受了学习英语的快乐，找到了英语学习的方法。没来清华英语学校，我英语总是90分左右，想拿95分以上难于上青天。自从来到清华英语学校以后，吕老师教学有方，我深深喜欢上了英语，每次考试成绩都达到95分以上了。有时我还考100分呢！英语学习对我来说，已经是张飞吃豆芽--小菜一碟了。我真的感谢清华英语，感谢教我的吕老师，是他们把我从英语学习的困境中拉了出来，让我学习英语如此轻松自如。我爱清华英语学校，我在这里有很多收获，我感觉清华英语就是一个温馨的大家庭。大家庭里宁静、温暖快乐。同学之间和睦相处，师生之间笑语不断。每天来到这里，我们总是很快乐。因为可以学习到新的知识，又可以和同学们一起做游戏。这里仿佛不是学校，而是一个充满着快乐而又让人奋进的知识的乐园。这样好的地方，我一定坚持学习，直到我学业结束那一刻。我喜欢在清华英语学校里上课。因为我有这样好的一位老师，吕老师幽默风趣，讲课生动，关心爱护同学，真是一位不可多遇的好老师，遇到吕老师我真幸运。从小学清华英语，长大上清华大学。我早已立下了这样的誓言。我一定刻苦学习，早日实现我的理想，将来回报所有关心帮助我的人，谢谢大家！
