Be Grateful to Our Parents
Since we were born, many people help us a lot. We should be grateful to their kindness. But the ones we should show our greatest appreciation are our parents. From the first day we appear in their lives, they give us all their love and care, but never expect anything in return. As long as they are there, we do not feel any difficulties, because they are always in front of our shelter, preventing us from difficulties and danger. In order to make our lives better, learn better, they do everything they can to create the best conditions for us, but ignore their own needs. Therefore, we need to cherish parents’ love and repay their upbringing. We should treat them as they treat us.
感恩父母
从我们出生的那天开始，许多人都帮助过我们。我们应该感谢他们的友好。但是，我们最应该感谢的人是我们的父母。从我们出现在他们生活中的那天开始，他们不求回报地给了我们所有的爱和关怀。只要有他们在，我们感觉不到任何的困难，因为他们总在我们的前方为我们遮风挡雨，把我们挡在困难和危险的后面。为了让我们生活得更好，学习得更好，他们竭尽所能得为我们创造最好的条件，却忽略了自己的需要。因此，我们要珍惜父母的深情，要报答父母的养育之恩，要如他们对待我们这般来回报父母。
Who gives me birth? Who brings me up? Who dedicates h is /her whole life to me? My parents.
Who gives me food? Who gives me clothes? Who gives me care? My parents.
My parents, they don’t want to get any reward from me. Not only my parents, all the parents in the world don’t charge anything from their children. they give us everything they can. they spend their whole life loving me, so I love my parents, too. Since I was given birth, I’ve started to love them even if I didn’t realize it.

As a teenager，I met the same problem as you. But now I can get along better with my mother. Here are some ideas for you。
Your mother talks much，because she cares about you. Maybe it"s not a good way，but it shows your mother"s love. So I think you should listen to her. If your opinions are different from your mother"s，you can communicate with her，and tell her what you are thinking about。
If your mother doesn"t take your advice，just keep silent and give her a smile。

“弋弋，起床！”天天早上，不是父母的叫声，就是闹钟的铃声。看看闹钟，才六点十五呢！起来要干什么？不说你也知道，又是去读英语呀！就这样，我可是天天做英语，记英语，听英语，背英语，这还只是一个小时之中的作业呢。完成了，父母来检查，对了，接着做，错了呢？又是罗里八唆一大段。日复一日，年复一年，你说，不烦才怪呢。哎，英语！
还有那英语单词，也真是的，天天记。什么英语单词，都是要记的，记会了再记，记完了再买，买来了再记。新的会了，旧的又忘了，反正，记的英语单词是永无止境的。那天，我在找垃圾箱，爸爸见了，便问我：“垃圾箱的英文怎么写？”哎，真恨那个发明了英文的人。
不过说回英语课，我们也有高兴的时候，那就是英语老师会给我们看英文电影。每次，只要英语课，老师不拿电脑进来，同学们便还是那句话，还是有气无力地叫道：
“哦，天哪，怎么又是英语？”

提到生存，我们的第一反应可能像《鲁滨孙漂流记》那样一个人生活。可在现实生活中，生存可能离我们很近。
那是我10岁那年，暑假父母带我去英国旅游。一路走来，风景十分秀丽。我们去了曼彻斯特，我们是跟团去的曼彻斯特，到了那里，有一个曼联的俱乐部（曼联是一个英国的足球队）。刚进店门，里面的商品琳琅满目，而我的视线被一个屏幕吸引了，我就站在那里看视频。
当我看完了视频，扭头一看。咦？我的爸爸妈妈呢。我顿时慌了神，一看周围都是高鼻梁了外国人。没有一个中国人，我开始害怕了。
不得已，我只能向周围的人求助了。我看见旁边有个老婆婆，我便上前攀谈。我用英语有点胆怯的说：“你能帮我吗”老婆婆用英语问：“怎么了？年轻人”我用英语说：“我找不到我的父母了”老婆婆用英语说：“你在哪走丢的”这恰好点醒了我，妈妈说过：“如果走丢了，待在原地，爸爸妈妈会来找你的”所以，我立刻返回到原地，等待父母。
在等待的过程中，我开始幻想。我会不会真的走丢了。那我要去警察局，去大使馆。那就危险了。
就在我还在幻想的时候，远处跑来两个人，我定睛一看，正是我的父母。我兴奋的不得了，马上跑了过去。
这次经历告诉我，遇到危险一定要保持冷静，细心思考，这样才能化险为夷!
给爸爸妈妈的信-A Letter to My Parents
Dear Mum and Dad,
I＇m writing to you in Beijing.
I＇m very happy to visit Beijing again. To my surprise, GREat changes have taken place here recently.
Today I went to Wangfujing Street. Now the streets are cleaner and nicer than before. There are many flowers everywhere and there is a fine smell of the flowers in the air. There are more new buildings, modern shops and large markets in it. People in Beijing are happy. Everyone has a smile on the face.
I know they are working hard for the 2008 Olympics. I hope they will have a good luck.

Dear Dad，
Today I was at the shopping mall and I spent a lot of time reading the Father’s Day cards. They all had a special message that in some way or another reflected how I feel about you. Yet as I selected and read, and selected and read again, it occurred to me that not a single card said what I really want to say to you.
You’ll soon be 84 years old, Dad, and you and I will have had 55 Father’s Days together. I haven’t always been with you on Father’s Day nor have I been with you for all of your birthdays. It wasn’t because I didn’t want to be with you. I’ve always been with you in my heart but sometimes life gets in the way.
You know, Dad, there was a time when we were not only separated by the generation gap but completely polarized by it. You stood on one side of the Great Divide and I on the other, father and daughter split apart by age and experience, opinions, hairstyles, cosmetics, clothing, curfews, music, and boys.
The Father-Daughter Duel of ’54 shifted into high gear when you taught me to drive the old Dodge and I decided I would drive the ‘54 Chevy whether you liked it or not. The police officer who escorted me home after you reported the Chevy stolen late one evening was too young to understand father-daughter politics and too old to have much tolerance for a snotty 16 year old. You were so decent about it, Dad, and I think that was probably what made it the worst night of my life.
