Nowadays, more and more people prefer to travel quite often. By traveling, we not only can relax ourselves but also broaden our knowledge circles. From my aspect, I think we can make many friends and travel with them.
Firstly, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax ourselves. For modern life, we are busy with our work with high pressure. However, when we travel, we will be attracted by great landscape and forget pressure from both work and life.
Secondly, we can make friends by traveling. For most travelers, they tend to find many companions to travel with. If you check the internet, you will find that some people will call others to join them for travel. Through this kind of travel, we can meet many different people and make friends with them to broaden our social circle.
Thirdly, we can learn much knowledge form travel. Before you go to somewhere to travel, generally, you need to make plans for your travel. You can find lots of things you don’t know when you make a plan, such as, the origin of a certain area, the customs of different areas, local food and so on.
In conclusion, we can not only relax ourselves and make new friends but at the same time we can learn much from travel.
This week I got my job as an historian boss, and I got a great group with Sam, Nicky, May and Winnie. Last week we didn’t have homework , but this week we just have a little.
In reading we read a story called “ Brave Melissa”. It talks about a little girl who saved her dog that is twice sizes of her. And we also read a story called “ Life Saving Class” , it tells about a kid who wanted to be an lifeguard, so he went to have classes, but we don’t like the sight of blood.
In English we have learned types of sentences, they are Interrogative, Exlamatory, Peclarative and Imperative sentences. In science, we did a fun thing that we took the clay and rolled it into an ball, we made it an falt bottom and then put a starw on the top of it and we put it on our pules, it moved up and down!

There are the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Time Square, Broadway, Wall street and the Central Park. Do you know the Statue of Liberty? It is very famous. The EmpireState Building is the tallest building in New York. There are many many theatres in Time Square.
Washington D.C. is the capital city. The White House and Lincoln Memorial are very famous. There are 15 large museums in this city.
Chicago is the third most populous city in the United States. Los Angeles is the second-largest city in terms of population. Those cities are very famous and important in the United States. This summer holiday we arrived in America. On the plane, I saw some beautiful lights. I think it was more beautiful than in Guangzhou. The bus came to the airport and picks us up to the hotel. The bus was very slow. Three hours later we arrived at the hotel. I shared the room with my friend Alice.
Our tourist began in the morning. First we went to visit the Wall Street. It has a big copper cattle, it looked like a real cattle. I took many photos with it. The guide told us it belongs to Wall street, but it isn’t in Wall Street.
Next we went to New York by ship, and we watched the statue of liberty. In her right hand it is a torch, in the left hand is a declaration of freedom. It means freedom. On the ship we saw that the lake was very dirty. The people destroyed the nature, and they made it ugly.
In the afternoon, we visited the United Nations Mansion. It has many things, there is a destroyed earth. It means the Earth was broken. Don’t destroy it again.
Finally, we went shopping at The Fifth Big Roads, there were many shops, but the things were expensive. We bought many sweets, we were happy because it was really a good trip.
