努力固然是对的，但如果方向错了，那么就有可能离成功越来越远。因此在努力之前，先要想好往哪个方向努力，这也许比你努力的程度更加重要。
努力既可能前进也可能后退。这种特点不禁让我想起了物理上矢量的概念。努力就像是人生的加速度，如物理中的加速度一样，努力也有方向性。努力的方向如果对了，那你向成功前进的速度就会与你的努力程度成正相关。但是如果努力的方向错了，人生的加速度反而会对你的前进速度上加上一个大大的减号。
这种方向性的错误在每个人身上都有可能发生。
影帝黄渤在电影界可谓是巨人般的存在，他的演技向所有人证明了他自己的实力。黄渤出道的时候，并不是一名演员，而是一位歌手。黄渤很想在唱歌的道路上走得更远，因此，对于唱歌，他付出了自己的全部努力。开始的时候，他为了能更快地被人们熟知，四处奔波，熬夜在夜店卖唱。尽管付出了一系列的努力，黄渤还是失败了，他没能如愿以偿地走红。当他陷入绝境将要放弃的时候，他偶然出演了一部电影的配角，这才开始在表演的道路上飞奔。对于黄渤来说，在唱歌这件事上，他不是不努力，但唱歌并不适合他，唱歌这条道路对他来说，就是一条与成功方向相反的道路。在这条道路上的努力，浪费了时间，浪费了精力，也浪费了激情，这其实就是一种倒退。而表演对他来说，就是正确的道路，短时间内就做到大红大紫。这足以说明努力的方向在某种意义上，比努力的程度更重要。
马云作为中国的首善和首富，也曾经犯过这样的错误。马云是一个十分坚持和执着的人，面对第一次高考数学只得了十几分的残酷现实，他依然选择了复读。马云小时候家里并不富裕，因此复读对家里来说是一笔不小的负担，但他仍倔强地坚持。马云的第二次高考还是没有考上大学，在家里人的强烈反对下，马云又进行了第三次高考。这次由于英语成绩优秀，他被破格录取进了大学英语专业。毕业后，他在团队的帮助下，涉足互联网行业，坚持创业，最终成为了电商巨头。马云坚持不懈的宝贵品质固然是我们应该学习的，但他盲目坚持而不考虑方向的做法是不可取的。盲目坚持使他在人生中蒙受了巨大的损失。
人生就像是大海，是波动不定的。你一定有过很努力、想要走得更高的时候，你一定也有努力过了收获却很少的经历。用功不一定能做有用功，努力也可能成为前进的阻力。成功的人往往是既努力、努力的方向又正确的人。努力的人很多，真正成功的人却很少，很多人在错误的方向上执迷不悟。

要想学习好英语，最重要的就是练习。总结许多人的经验来说，题海战术并不是完全没有道理的。英语的许多阅读题，就是靠多次练习掌握的一种做题技巧，英语的口语发音题，也是通过多次的练习读背而产生的语感，这样才能在英语听力以及各种英语考试中大展身手，获得成功。英语练习，千万不要盲目的练习，一定有目的性，练习自己薄弱的领域，不要眉毛胡子一把抓。大好的时光都放在那些自己本来就已经掌握的很熟练的知识上，从而浪费了时间，浪费了精力。

梦想像一粒种子，种在“心”的土壤里，尽管它很小，却可以生根开花。
幼儿园的时候，我的第一个梦想诞生了——当一名警察。现在想起来还觉得幼稚好笑，因为那时我只是羡慕警察威风的警服和他们站在马路中央指挥交通时的飒爽英姿而已。清英这所我生活了六年，满载美好梦想的校园改变了我的初衷，坚定了我梦想的方向——当一名优秀的英文翻译。
六年来，每当上英语课时，我都会用羡慕的眼神崇拜地看着英语教师，羡慕他们那一口流利标准的英语，羡慕他们能写出独具匠心的英语作文，羡慕他们能和外教流畅的交流、聊天，向往着有朝一日也能像他们一样优雅地倾吐出纯正的英语。我总是幻想着：站在清英第7号教室的讲台前，面对着台下那一双双充满求知欲望的眼睛，满心喜悦地为孩子们讲课，看着他们一个个踊跃举手发言，认真对话的模样，心底的自豪感油然而生。于是，我更加坚定了心中的目标：做一名优秀的英文老师，做一名出色的英文翻译，让每一个在清英学习的孩子拿到第一张通往世界的通行证。沉思之际，我发现，此刻的我已变成了未来“清英城”
里的一名英文翻译，正站在欢迎美国总统奥巴马来访清英的队列中。我陪伴在总统的身旁，操一口流利的英语优雅地为总统作着介绍。在“维也纳”音乐厅，享受东方的魅力与西方的经典；在“哈佛楼”聆听清英学子纯正、地道的英语诵读声。虽然，我现在离那梦想的顶端还很远，或许在通往梦想的路上会遇到许多坎坷，但那是我选择的路，我一定会执着地走下去，带着我心中的梦想沟通于世界，倾听于世界。
“把握生命中的每一分钟，全力以赴我们心中的梦。”让小小的梦想在心中萌发生长，只要我们用一生的努力去追求它，它就一定会在我们心中开出一朵美丽的花。我相信，在我未触及的彼岸，有一分成功的喜悦，正在那儿静静的等待着我…
当黑夜笼罩四方；当月亮射出清冷的寒光；当冷风刮过我的脸庞；我信步走在回家的路上，心中却总有一丝难以描述的空虚与迷茫。
我在心中感慨又虚度了一天的时光。可却再没有了当初的那份自责与心伤，这让我突然感到一阵惊慌。难道经过这么多天的散漫与放纵，我已经沉迷于自己的幻想，不再坚持自己当初的方向？难道我就这样放弃我选择的道路不再进发？我的心里充满了苦涩。
遥想当年初进高一，我也曾何等张狂，意气风发。可是深奥的课堂，优秀的同窗，竟让我无法再张扬。每每看见同学们在课堂上的风流倜傥，下课后的古道热肠，让我感觉自己总被遗忘。更兼英语的旧伤，就像一座大山始终压在我身上，让我没法迈开步伐去寻找自己的方向。每次付出汗水可英语却总在最后几位徘徊，这让我感到一阵失望。同学们的口语也那么的流畅，这让我更添一份沮丧。我想着放松几天调整心情，可是这一退便不再停止。那以后我终选择了妥协与晃荡，上课的迷茫，下课的闲逛，让我的成绩一落千丈。
时间的车轮滚滚向前，我的焦虑感奔沓而来，我就像一个局外人，独站路旁，冷眼看着同窗们的成长。我曾经也是他们中那优秀的一员，可如今他们都早已有了自己明确的方向，找到了属于自己的道路，坚定地向上，积极地使劲儿。而我早已失去了这种向上，一再颓废和放弃，到现在，成绩低下没个模样。等我突然惊醒想要发奋图强，却感到前途一片渺茫，不知未来在何方。
看着昔日并肩的同窗一步步向上，在前十占据一方；再看看自己终日游荡，成绩日渐下降，中间的差距越来越大。我开始不安，想要找回曾经的辉煌。我虽选择了游荡，可骨子里那份骄傲还没消散，我也有着自己的道路与理想，也不甘落后于任何同窗！我认定我就是我自己的王，颓废的心里还沉睡着一匹骄傲的狼！我是狼，是想要苏醒对天长啸的狼。想要振奋唯有用行动来表达，可是看着那略微生疏的课本，晦涩难懂的单词与语法，我萌生了一丝退意，我不知这如山的任务从何赶上。课堂上未知的知识也让我头晕脑胀，这让我再一次想放弃。可我想起从前的辉煌，现在的颓丧，父母的期望，同学的笑话，我竟再次生出一股力量。我咬牙坚持，我不想成为自甘堕落的象征，我要成为全班同学的榜样，我要用行动来弥补我们之间的距离。我是一匹狼，一匹永不言败的狼。我再也不愿舍弃自尊终日闲逛，不愿再感受闲逛时的那种空虚与迷茫。
我制定了一个计划，强迫自己每天放学后不再离开而是坐下，静心学习落下的功课。用行动来证明我要改变的决心与力量。清晨的《国殇》，夜半的“young，hung。”日子悠悠荡荡，我没日没夜的追赶，害怕自己不能赶上，再次绝望从而回到当初的彷徨，我做题做到头脑发胀，可是心中却充满了阳光，我感到一种前所未有的我充实，而不是以前那种令人心塞的空虚与迷茫。我确立了自己的方向，知道自己路在何方，用理想为未来导航，只有这样，我行动起来才有力量，我才会前进不再彷徨！
也许我醒悟的早还没落下太多知识与方法，随着时间的流逝我能感觉到自己正在成长正在坚强，每当我坚持不住想要放弃，我都会在大脑中回想自己定下的理想，提醒自己回头看看自己取得的进步，这样我便看到了希望。那一段时间，我怀疑自己不能坚持，可我真的不想再失去方向，不想再次成为别人口中的笑话。深夜里无数次痛哭无数次流泪，可现在我终于迎来了雨后阳光。
其实生活就是战场，你若对敌人妥协，只会身死人亡。敌人他不会管你是弱是强，你想要成功，唯有变强；同时，我们也不知道敌人的弱强，平时不努力，不付诸行动，上战场前才临阵磨枪，匆忙上场，想要成功那便只是一个笑话。将军在战场上想要建功立业，保家卫国，威震四方，他也需要熟读兵书精通兵法，这样才能声名远扬。我们也是自己战场上的将军，我渴望。我坚信，只要我行动起来，持之以恒，我一定会取得胜利，衣锦还乡，赢得万人空巷。
人生需要理想来导航，通向未来的人生之路不可能永远宽阔与坦荡，无论它有多崎岖，我都永不言弃，一路行走一路成长，领略路上的美好，追求自己的理想。
